Ok, need a little help here. What all do you have to do to get the PS3 online? Are there monthly fees involved? Also, I have an older 20gb model, so how hard is it to convert to wireless? Can I simply plug a wireless card into the usb port, or is it more complicated than that?

No fees that I know of. Mine has the wireless card in it. I just turned on the console and it found my wireless network.

Hope that helps. I don't know much about it.

I used to move my cable modem into the living room, I got sick of that shit, switched to DSL w/ a wireless modem.
PS online is free.

Make sure you secure your network.

You have me to assist with comedy relief-generation.

Also, I do NOT recommend the linksys "blocks" (I forget their real name) that supposedly commect wirelessly to each other. I had no luck with them, and ended up returning them.

I tried one of my wireless cards in the USB port, and it simply read unidentified on the screen. I think I am simply going to run a line, which shouldn't be too difficult.

I couldn't get my wireless to connect to it so i just covered up the wire so nobody can see it

Well, it wouldn't be entirely out of the question to run a new plug under the house. Problem is, I really don't want to crawl around under the house again. I was just under there last week running wire for my surround sound, and the damn house is just too low under the den!
