Picked it up yesterday
690cc fuel injected counter balanced single, 74hp, 6-speed trans w/slipper clutch, ABS, tubeless tires, 320lbs. Attached File Attached File Attached File /Harley fags feel free to flame away with your wood stove powered motorsickles |

I currently have a big custom chopper so I guess that makes me a Harley fag. I have to say though, that is pretty nice. With that much hp on tap your going to have to work at keeping the front tire on the ground. Enjoy the ride.

Love it,but why off road pics if you bought a Supermoto??
Let's see some knee dragging, crossed up wheelies and burnouts please https://youtu.be/czE6B8M-_IM |

The Harley comment was unnecessary as I have one and have had a Harley for 20 years. I also race a CRF 450 and a xr650r supermoto.
It's a nice bike but they are just ugly. |
|
Mines a 2014 ktm 690 enduro with a set of sumo wheels.
I want the extra hp the new huskies have. 67 to 74 would be awesome. I do love being able to change the rims out and hit the trails. |
|
Congrats on an ultimate hooligan bike. Wheelies, stoppies, blistering the twisties......I'd just walk in the DMV and toss my licenses on the counter, cause they'd have them soon anyway.
|

I had a 2008 KTM 690 enduro. Great bike. Also had a 07 525 with supermoto wheels. This time I was torn between the enduro and SM because either would suit me but the tubeless tires won me over. Still like to follow a light trail once in a while.
I may change over to a more aggrsive tire when the stock Contis wear out. This motor is much smoother and has noticeably more power than the old 690 motor. Edit- Up until riding this bike my old 690 was the best single cylinder motorcycle I ever rode. Still a great bike. |
|
Enjoy. I ride a Harley Road King and a DR650, I prefer the DR!

|
Btw Op, those tires will likely be sliiiiiiick in the wet, so keep that in mind.

I would have tried to say something nice even tho I don't like your new bike.
But,After you called me a Harley Fag? I guess I can speak freely and say that is one ugly POS you bought and I bet the salesman is still laughing and backslapping..Since its now worth about 1/2 what you just paid for it...HaHaa |

1. Price?
B. Would it be a good first bike for my 6ft, 205-210lb self? |

Fucking AWESOME. And I think that I know those power lines.......
I want one, badly. I'm building a 530RR engine for my SMR510 as we speak (my lunched sixth gear). I'm hoping to be back in the game soon....... |

View Quote It feels heavy moving it around compared to your 510 and the 525, 50lbs more I think, but compared to the 990SMT that I just sold and some of the warthogs people ride nowadays, it is still very light. Post some pics of your bike when it's done! |
|
Nice find, already set up with street smoothies too. With that amount HP, have to imagine it's a lot of work to keep that front wheel down when blasting away from stops, shifting in general, etc. Stay safe, have fun.

As an MXer. That machine would get me into so much trouble.
Things that most people would think were nothing would become jumps, step ups, and step downs. There is a set of RR tracks near by that if I hit it fast enough would be an awesome jump to a step down, right on the road. |

Been there, done that kinda thing. So, so light though... |

Cool bike, I just wish they offered them in other colors. Not that I'd ever buy one new, but down the line somewhere, it might be on the used bike radar. My current ride. Tall and a little porky, but the suspension is nice, 45 Marzocchi magnum fork and WP rear shock. When these same out, there wasn't much choice in Supermoto-ish bikes in the US. THe Husky 701 and the Aprilia Grenade are on a whole 'nother level.

I remember when it said "White Power" on all the euro motocross bike forks! Why, oh why did they abbreviate to just "WP"?! Am I missing something ? LoL Husky gives you the WP fork stickers along with the yellow wheel stickers, pass pegs and pass grab rails in a box with the bike. |
