You can buy 30 round Gen 2 (?) for $7 USD.  As long as free enterprise is working, everyone should be happy.

There's the cost, and then there's the cost. Which do you want to know? Not that Magpul is going to show up in this thread and give away all of their trade secrets.



Just raw materials and labor?
Including amortizing R&D?

Including amortizing property, plant, and equipment?

Including production overhead?

Including sales, general, and administration expenses?

less than a buck I would think. worked in plastics for a few years.

However to get that, you have to buy material in bulk and make lots of them per hour to keep the cost down. No idea on what their reject/scrap is.


keep in mind, this is without adding the cost of the equipment, operators, shipping, electricity, profit, etc.

In materials, but they pay Americans to assemble them. I'll go with $2-3.

Marketing, R&D, distributing costs, and various other overhead.

I have no idea, but I don't see anyone selling mags like theirs for $2-3, so I figure it must cost more than that.
