Just want to see what people are using as alternatives to paper and what the results have been.
I don't have pics, but a friend of mine came across some thick I-Beam sections.  I was pretty impressed with the results at 100 yards.
Lets see the Pics!

I just gave my second computer a bullet.  Sorry, my camera batteries are dead.  I can't believe how tough a hard drive is.  It took 3 rounds of Golddot .45 to shoot through it!!

Edited.  Ok, I found some batteries!  Picture of Hard drive and the three bullets used. The first shot is on the right, second in the middle, and the one that punched through on the left.

Old plastic lens from trafic lights.  A friend works for a company thats services trafic lights.  They replaced the old bulbs with LED units.  I've got about 400 of them.

After I took the MCAT, I shot my prep book with about 30 rounds of 7.62x39 (this was before I bought my AR). No pics, unfortunately.

Despite the devastation I visited upon it, that book served me well, as I learned when I got my scores.

Empty, replaced it the week before with a brand new made in China one from Auto Zone since it was corroding and coolant was leaking out of it.

WTF was in that bunny!!!!

and if the rest of the pops were gunshots some people really have poor aiming....granted you couldn't see anything through the dirt cloud and it sounded like rapid fire, but still a little wild for rapid fire

It's a top secret one the .gov was working on so they could use the rifles they have in stock now.
All they would need to do is drill out the barrels they use now.

It has a split breech that closes over the chamber and uses a liquid propellant.

225yards with an AR50.  Prone.

Also have pics from the Hoosier shoot a while back where we shot up a satilite dish, and a nice target stand.

Usually when i got to the range i only destroy paper but when i get out to the pit i like to get creative, no tanerite or anything but i try to find things around the house i can shoot the shit out of.

Thats a drawer that was supposed to go into into my grandmothers new bathroom vanity but it didn't fit level so we had to order another one and i had it sitting around for awhile and thought it would make a good target.

I shot about 200 rounds of 5.56 and about 25 shells of #two 12 gauge and it survived that first range trip but on its second time out i threw about 300 5.56, 250 9mm and about 25 12 gauge and there wasent even ehough to bother cleaning up.

That's one hell of a shot!

I'm impressed by how it looks as though the spoon did not bend or deform, but just got punched clean through.
