I'm thinking if I had to drive around in a Ferguson type scenario a nice 7 inch barreled PDW may do the trick. Easy to conceal and deploy.

Something belt fed with a high rate of fire so prob a SAW or M240G

I think the idea is to not be a hero and stay turtled up and protect your turf, not go vigilante and confrontational.

A set of keys to a Uhaul ... and use them to haul ass out of that POS area.

Job applications. You can conceal them, fold them, and pack them everywhere. Does not get old or have any functional issues or legal issues.

I have several PDW options. I'd probably go with a suppressed AR SBR or the Galil Mini that I hope to buy next year. |

Task force huh? Hopefully if this task force is worth anything it supplies it members with issued weapons and not some Frankenstein gun in a wild cat catridge. Seriously dude it scares me you are a chief.

The only reason I would be driving into a Ferguson scenario is to retrieve family or friends. I would try to be as discreet as possible. If I need anything more than my XD things have gone badly pear shaped.
To indulge your fantasy though....SBR with a suppressor. Probably two or three friends with the same. |

This wouldn't be a one man basement of your moms house type task force, former AW2 here. |

I am actually working right next to Ferguson and my normal armament is a Glock 35 and Colt 11.5" SBR, just like any other day up there.

I'm done fappin I started drinking and I want to see PDW options. Sheesh.... |

A reliable semiauto handgun of decent capacity, along with an AR in the trunk

Something that you can fire one handed easily and sustain fire without reloading. Having a free hand while driving, leading a family member to safety, or calling in an airstrike is invaluable. Terminal ballistics is less of a concern in this particular scenario IMHO. I frankly don't give a shit how hard I hit 'em. More worried about the quantity of my squeezes than the quality of my thrusts against a mob.
I'm going to swing for the derp fences and argue a PS90 SBR. I'd imagine you could sort out quite a few problems before you emptied a 50 round magazine. |
