I was in my local Walmart today and they have a map that says if you are from any of the 42 states  listed  on there map that you could buy a firearm from the Walmart I was in. [Norman, Oklahoma]. Some of the states you could not live in and buy from them were Florida, Idaho,Cali,Alabama and four others. I was under the impression that you would have to be a resident of Oklahoma to buy firearms in Oklahoma. Am I wrong?

Longarms may be purchased from an FFL in almost any state. Those states probably have state laws against buying out of state.
