I vote Thunderball by Tom Jones.

Live and Let Die (P.M. and Wings) and For Your Eyes Only (Sheena Easton) got consideration.

Just the main James Bond music is the coolest I think.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service.  That's an awesome theme song.  John Barry said he made it intentionally so dramatic because George Lazenby had almost zero screen presence or personality (he might have been joking)

Sorry, but it's Goldfinger and that's all there is to it, both the orchestral version featuring Shirley Bassey AND the guitar-laden instrumental version. In fact, the entire soundtrack is iconic, anthemic and far and away the best of the bunch. Parts are even echoed -- almost note for note -- in The Incredibles.

Paul McCartney, Carly Simon, Duran Duran... all too lightweight, uneven and lame and hardly representative of the real James Bond: Sean Connery. Accept no substitute.

That movie's theme was pure intrumental.

Now while you do have two other songs there, “We Have All the Time in the World” and “Do You Know How Christmas Trees Are Made?” neither one can be called the Theme song.

I have the favorite songs:
Goldfinger
Thunderball
Live and Let Die

And while I really don’t have a favorite beyond those three, I’m of the opinion that the title songs have been going down hill, starting with “A View to a Kill.”

Live and Let Die's just my favorite.

But I do like Goldeneye, very James Bondish.
