Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Original British Flash Suppressor for L1A1

 I have heard some conflicting opinions on parts replacement for this rifle. Mine is a Century Arms L1A1 inch pattern. I hated the muzzle brake that came on it and wanted to change to the original 5 port British model.
 I have been told this was not legal then on the other hand as of 2004 it has become legal. I can't seem to find a definitive answer. Does anyone know for sure?
