Anyone in the states ever ordered from Amazon.uk? Will they even ship to the states?

If you are looking for something that hasn't yet got a distribution network in the states, try amazon.ca first. Shipping from Canada is only marginally more expensive than shipping from a distance in the US.

Several things. Mostly DVDs that aren't released here. They are in the PAL format but I have a DVD player that plays all formats. A couple of books too. No problems. Same with Amazon Canada.

Yes. No problems. Ordered the British Harry Potter series--the "unAmericanized" version.
