I am in the process on building my own tack driver. What is the better action to use.
I am a lefty and am looking at either a Rem 700, Win 70 or maybe a Savage 10/110?
Thanks for the input.

Remington 700.  Just an opinion.  It's the only one I'm familiar with, and I'm satisfied.

700 all the way, better stock and better trigger.

I like the Rem.700 for the basis of an accurate rifle.
I've have a short-action (.22-250) and a long action (6.5-300WbyMag.), both customized, heavy-barreled M-700s, that shoot better than I am able.
I attend a few benchrest matches and if it's not a true custom action, it's a modified M-700.
Stock triggers are not only easily adjusted, but good replacement units are universally available too.

Conversely, a buddy had built a .300WinMag around a Win.M-70 and it shoots very, very well.

Better to use a Hall or a Stolle Action

I have a 110 I plan to "build".  A friend has one that will put every round in a dime at 100yds - all day long.  He is never satisfied and has told me a new barrel has gotten him down to a single ragged hole - and I believe him although I have not witnessed the latest.  Things sure are easy to work on!
