Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Opinions on Sightron Scopes

I know I could post this in the equipment forum, but I figure I'll get more input here.  Anybody with comments or experience with these scopes?  I've heard they're pretty good for the money and have been thinking about getting one.

I have a big one (up to 24X) on my 220 Swift for Prarie Dog shooting. It is not a bad scope at all. I do not know if it is quite as clear as my Leupold, or if I am just being more critical of the Sightron. I always spent more money on glass for my rifles but was in a bind and needed a scope quickly. I will say that the Prarie Dogs do not like it at all.
