There are no 30.06 signs on the two Fuddruckers by me.

Luby's bought Fuddruckers?  Didn't know that.  Luby's has cash problems of it's own.

You passed up the endless warm cheese sauce?

Seriously, how could you walk away from that?

I wouldn't give my business to an anti-gun place whether there were signs or not.

Fuddruckers made it clear to me they did not want my business about 6 years ago when the food started to suck.

Back in April 2010, Fuddruckers made it clear that they don't want our business.  http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=1026431&page=1

However, in June 2010, Luby's bought Fuddruckers.  I haven't found anything about Luby's restricting CHL, just quite a bit about the 1991 shooting.

Now that they're owned by Luby's, have they done away with their no-weapons policy?  When my co-workers and I went to lunch today, I walked across the street for a burrito while they went to Fuddruckers.

Brodie Oaks?

I have never seen any anti-gun signs (ghostbuster style or 30.06) at either the Brodie Oaks location or Anderson Ln. location (when it was still open).  Heck, one of the Austin ARFCOM monthly dinners was at the Anderson Ln location last year.

I would be interested in this as well.

FWIW they didn't care if it was permit holding "civilians" or off duty LEO/Mil - they didn't like anyone with guns.

Well at least they are/were not hypocrites.

Can't here in SC - they serve alcohol on the premises.  State law.

I haven't been inside of a Fudruckers in over 20 years.  I was a pre-teen IIRC.

The Fudruckers around here are not posted.  I'm glad too, because I happen to like their burgers.

Like most people out here, I don't think they give a shit. I see people with OC guns from time to time there, and since the Scheels is right next door I think they are fine with it.

I CCW at our local Fudruckers.  Even before NM's CHL law barred me from taking my pistol, due to the beer, they had no sign saying anything about carrying firearms.  But this is NM.  The ONLY place I have ever seen a "No Firearms" sign is at the Double Rainbow Cafe.  Its called something different now. Anyhow, concealed means concealed.

I'm curious about this as well, since my kids enjoy eating there from tim to time.  My question/comment submission via their website:

Prior to Luby's acquiring Fuddruckers, customers legally carrying firearms were not allowed in your restaurants.

Since the acquisition, have more reasonable minds prevailed or does this nonsensical policy still stand?

I for one would like to once again enjoy your restaurant with my family, but I can't patronize a company that sees fit to enforce policy which infringes upon my Constitutional rights.

Standing by for response. . . .

Same thought here.  Haven't been to one in years.  They've all gone out of business around here.

They started to go downhill once they stopped the practice of hanging sides of beef in their butcher shops.

The Fuddruckers by me won't allow me to bring my gun. Course neither will taco bell. McDonalds, Wendys  or the entire rest of this fucked up state.

There are 49 other states.  Or 56, depending on how you do the math.

Quite a few Fudds closed down in this area. Two of those that are left had managers who liked our business. No signs posted either.

I've been to the one in Tempe twice. No anti-carry sign that I ever saw (maybe I missed it?). And their elk burgers are the schnizzle!!

The implication is that if they were serious, they would have posted signs.

While they have, or at least had in the past, a no CCW policy, the lack of signs sounds like it's really a 'wink wink nudge nudge' kind of policy.

They actually went bankrupt and had to reorganize. As part of the process, they closed quite a few stores.

Bankrupt?  Well that shows you what happens when you start banning open & concealed carry.
