Yeah, that guy should have a doctor look at the black hole on his face. [:D]

Excellent pics. Thanks for the link.
Those "D" boys scare the shit out of me...glad they're working for us... |

And people still ask why we prefer Aimpoint red-dot sights. One look at the great pics there and I know I picked the right red-dot optic for my SHTF weapon.

Absolutely COOL! Thank you.
I am SO jealous. I wish I were twenty again. Hey...did any of you old jarheads notice the one pic of the fully loaded Marines...? Hump-hump-hump...and of course...up hill! I cracked up! This series of photos should be mandatory viewing for all of the bed-wetting panty waist liberals who think we're not fighting the war and just wish we could all get along with the terrorists! Morons. So where can I get one of those silenced M-40s? [sniper] |

Very eye pleasing indeed. Gives me all kinds of cool ideas for different AR configurations to build. Dang I need more money.
Go get'em boys! |

Interesting AK-style brake on this M-14 sniper.
I'm also seeing alot of EOTech holosights. Those M240s look intimidating don't they? |

Really cool pics. Why do we have so many Special Forces guys in the Philippines?

US Special Forces were in the PI to train the Phillipinos in anti-terrorism to combat the Abu Sayef. Abu Sayef is linked to Al Queda and had kidnapped three Americans along with 19 Philipinos. Two of the Americans were killed and one was rescued WIA. The leader of Abu Sayef was drowned like a rat by Philipino troops on patrol with SEALS. Abu Sayef is now leaderless and on the run with no hostages, so US troops have now come home. Good job guys.

It seems to me that NOW is the time to drop a battalion of the 82nd Airborne on their heads and finish grinding them into the ground! I hope we don't regret our decision to pull out later.... What you said, however, is true: GREAT JOB, GUYS! |

Oh, one more question. Why are all the Special Forces guys sportin' full facial beards in Afghanistan? Trying to fit in with the locals or just no chance to shave?

Especially when they were working with the Northern Alliance in direct ground fighting with the Taliban. |

This may seem like a dumb question, but how come so many of the "civilian" body guards (the ones not in uniform) dress the way they do? Why not go in cammies, or at least have an assault vest on with spare mags?
I never realized so many of the troops got camo jobs done on their weapons - most cool! Oh, did you notice the picture with the little boy in the Phillipines holding the toy AK47? LOL - we should show that one to the libs - no telling what they would say about that! |

Rest assured, they have spare ammo on them. |

Quoted: It's the 240G I believe. View Quote You think? It looks bigger than a SAW, and I've never seen one with that kind of a foregrip before. Then again, I'm no expert. Another of the photos on that page made me think for a minute that these guys had brought back the Stoner! Guess not, though... RichinCM is right! Maybe Dubya's been learning about the war hands-on! Wouldn't THAT be a hoot (not to mention a contrast in comparison to a certain scumbag coward who was president recently)? |
|
Zaphod,
Yep, that is indeed an M240B. It's got a box-shaped forearm and flat heatshield on top. Looks funny, but it works. |
|
I also want to add that I like those sunglasses that they're wearing!
Also, don't forget to check out the "In Remembrance" section. Many soldiers have paid the ultimate sacrifice for this campaign, and it's important to pay a little respect. |

I want one of these!

Batman,
I believe that device on the business end of that modified M14 is actually a proprietary quick-detach mount for the suppressor. It does resemble an AK-style brake, and may very well function to some degree as such when the suppressor is detached. Zaphod, The M240 is the big brother to the M249 SAW, and is chambered in 7.62 NATO. The USMC pressed for it's development and adoption, but it is now used by other US forces as well. Great pics, although I'm SURE most would be considered classified. Recognised a couple people myself . . ! |
|
IIRC the US version of the FN MAG, M240B has a different flash hider (shorter, M16 like, in place of the long hider), handguards and heat shields top and bottom, and a Picantinny rail on the top cover.

there's some great pictures for Polaris ATV commercials and advertising!SpecialForces tough!

You know, American soldiers in a third world shit hole like these must seem like freaking gods to these people. I, for one, could not be more proud of these bad assed SOBs! God bless them as much as he has damned those in their sights!
BTW, what is this guy carrying? AR-10? |

Ok, here's a REAL challenge imho. Name the rifle this French Infantry sniper is using.

Puuuleeease! It is none other than the FR-F2 based on the old Model 36 action... Duh! [rolleyes]
Actually, I had seen that earlier and did a search... I, of course, previously had no idea! [:D] http://www.snipercentral.com/fr-f1.htm |
