Ok. I know all the rules and this is not a "flame the Mexicans" post.
Last week my family and I were in Ft. lauderdale FL (a nice area by the way!) driving down the road heading out to dinner. A POS car with 2 Latinos ( I very strongly expect Mexicans) pulled up along side and started hooting and hollering at my daughthers. The driver made a circle with his left thumb and forefinger and inserted his pointer finger from the other hand in the hole. Clearly an obscene jesture. Pretty god damn brazen actions! I had only my Kershaw Avalance. After a block or so and me gesturing back with one finger at said Latinos they moved on. I suppose the little shits saw me driving the car and took the grey hair for a sign of weakness or some such. I can't tell you how utterly and fully pissed off I was! In fact enraged is a better word. What say you? Just a couple of harmless guys out looking for a good time before heading back to the sweatshops of FL to make minimum wage at jobs Americans dont want? And I was out of line to be getting all pissed off right? What say you?  |

I view that as extremely rude behavior that I see among both top minorities in this country. Pisses me off also.
I have two daughters, one is 17, the other 13. They are both incredibly beautiful and shapely, They should not have to listen to men in public looking at them and saying things implying they want to stick their dicks in them. it enrages me ..... I have said things before, they act like they want to kill you if you dare defend your family. I'm not racist, just call it when I see it. |

I saw two (from their appearance) upper middle class white college boys doing basically the same thing towards what looked like some high school girls last night when I was walking home last night.
I was better armed than you, but with the police camera mounted on that corner I think POW POW POW "Learn some manners" would not have gone over well...

Unfortunately, you are probably incorrect... The .gov seems to be replacing "natural selection" when it comes to who reproduces most prolifically. Seems the lowest leeches (of all races) on the totem pole are the ones that produce the most offspring, and sadly do not have to support said offspring as .gov does it for them... out of our paychecks.  They just grow up and become scumbags like their parents were. |

Unfortunately, we women are used to it. Doesn't make it any better, but you learn to ignore it.
Happens on an almost daily basis. Truck drivers playing on the highways, trying to get your attention, men staring at your breasts in broad daylight, or saying lewd things as you pass by. Heck, last night I was stopped at a gas station just to get a bottle of water, got out of my car, and a passing guy in a car mentioned something that he'd like to do to me that HE thought I'd really like. Again, you just ignore it. It's not a racial thing, it's a guy thing.  |

such staring and remarks probably has nothing to do with the extremely short tennis skirts, or the nearly see-through white shirt with "pornstar," "flirt" or (and i have seen this) "slut" written across the breast area? nah! couldn't be that maybe women, in general, should dress in accordance with the way they'd like to be treated. you can't dress like a hooker and not be propositioned. you can't have it both ways. not sayaing you dress like that (or maybe you do), but such overt displays of sexuality are exceedingly common in America these days.

If you take frequent vacations to FL, get that CCL. It's easy to get and cheap. |

 I've been in similar situations (GF + friend, not daughters) with a gun, and I've never been "tested". There are things I'm willing to kill over, and things I'm not. If you don't have a damned good idea of where that line is, you shouldn't even think about carrying. |

I see the same thing, but again it's with all races.
Difference is, here anyway, Americans tend to know when to turn away...when it crosses the line from being "natural reaction" to crude, obscene, and disrespectful. The mexicans in my area don't seem to be aware when they've crossed the line. My girlfriend and I deal with it...what else can you do? |

Happens all the time here in North Florida at springs in the area where people congregate to swim. I quit taking my family (wife and two daughters) because the Mexicans would all stand around and stare at women in a leering way. These fuckers can really creep you out and over the last five years the population of hispanics in this area has tripled. Pisses me off to no end!

If you were in Ft Lauderdale, they were more likely Cubans (Hispanic) than Mexican (Latinos). We keep all our Mexicans down in Florida City and Homestead.
That being said assholes are assholes, wherever they are. Sorry it happened, at least it was limited to hand gestures. |

I hate when that happens. My wife and I were out with friends a few weeks ago, and attended an event at the local pub. I went to use the haed and when I returned, 2 latinos were chatting up my wife and her friends. I paid little attention at first, as my wife and her friends are attractive women, and the 2 men were not "crowding" them. But as I make my way toward them, wifey gives the eye as if to say "get over here and help". So when I get there, I try to put my arm around the wifey and this asshat has the balls to try and cock-block me.
I went nuts. Gave him my best super-scapular strike, and watched him turn white and fall to the floor. His buddy gave me a look, and by this time I had back up in thye form of the husband of the other woman, said latino's then turned tail and left. How do you have the balls to step in between a man and his wife.

While such rude behavior is hardly confined only to those of another culture, those from other cultures often don't like the American way of doing things. Those from south of the border do indeed need a manners tweak, but they aren't as bad as some of the prizes that come from the middle east. A university here in Va recently created a men's only classrooms and faculty facilities to "accomodate" some Saudi professors who refused to have anything to do with women. This, of course, made the feminists mad. It is truly a wonderful thing when 2 of the sacred tennents of PC ("diversity" and feminism) collide. Watching liberals twist themselves inside out about it is truly entertaining... Anyhoo, the point was made that if these people are going to show up to our nation and benefit from our way of life, they darn well ought to get it in their heads that we have an American way of doing things. (Ever heard a liberal talk like that??? It is funny as hell....) To which I agree. In America, you don't make obscene gestures at women. You don't treat women like property or dogs. Don't like it? Leave. |

You aren't allowed to have balls anymore. What you did was a crime - that's the problem. Lots of men don't have a problem with this attitude. They are spineless cowards who wouldn't throw a punch in the first place. These laws are a shield for them. For others, like yourself, you are put in a very ugly situation. I feel your pain. It continually baffles me that women will "pour" themselves into a skin tight dress that shows plenty of cleavage and plenty of leg, put on a pair of "fuck-me" heels and go out in public and be pissed that guys stare? You did the right thing, not much else you can do in that situation. Explain to your daughters these are the type of people that you never want to associate with or, god forbid, date. Tell them If someone treats you in a disrespectful manor ignor them and get away from them.
In other situations kicking the shit out of someone is fine, not for looking at someone but for making a comment or gesture, ect. |
