Talk about a goat fuck. Union delegates fuckin' parachuting in for this one.
(Funny thing is, back in the day... this would have just "gone away.") |

Was the cop doing the traffic stop in his take home car after his shift ended?

So a off duty officer #1 in unmarked car pulls over off duty officer #2 in unmarked car. Then off duty officer #2 who got pulled over shoots at off duty officer #1. Sounds like they should both be fired. I mean if a off duty officer in plain clothes in a unmarked car pulls me over I would probably shoot him too, especially if he forces me off the road a pulls a gun on me, i dont care if he claims to be a police officer i have no proof and hes pointing a gun at me, that idiot is getting shot.
Next time maybe officer #1 should tail the guy and call 911 and have a on duty officer in a marked car do the traffic stop. |

They should both lose their jobs + criminal charges for the guy who was driving drunk as neither of them seem to make the right judgment calls.
1. Traffic stop while off duty in plain clothes in a personal vehicle? Wtf? 2. Driving drunk + shooting at some other moron attempting to pull you over? Wtf? Actually I can sort of see how the drunk guy would start shooting. Imagine if your driving along one night an some vehicle chases you/attempts to bring your vehicle to a stop. Driver of that vehicle gets out with a gun or whatever... Most people here would probably get out shooting as well if they perceived it to be some sort of carjacking. Complete cluster and this is why traffic stops in unmarked and in plainclothes (whether on duty or not) is stupid and against policy in most places Correct procedure is follow the vehicle and keep eyes on and call it in for a marked unit to handle. Neither of these individuals should be carrying a badge. |

I'd like to be a fly on the wall in the union office to listen for this cluster fuck.
