First time sipping this and it's very good.

Damned if it doesn't taste just like good rye bread. I think I prefer it to Bulliet rye.

Prefer Templeton Rye myself.

I would give your recommendation a try at a taste testing though.

this stuff is tasty.

I think even someone not a fan of whiskey would like it. The rye bread flavor is spot on.

I rather like a good rye. "Old Overcoat" is one of the better ones.

It is and I like it. But give this Old Overholt a try. Same price as Beam Rye but I think it's a good bit better.
