I personally would love to see a new run of Mauser broomhandles in .30 carbine again at a reasonable price. I would buy two in a heartbeat. What would it take to do that? Buying the rights or blueprints or whatever?
What would you like to see repro'd that you'd jump on in a heart beat (dont say Marilyn Monroe ) |

MP40
FG42 PPSH Bergmann m1910 thats all I can think of for now..... |
Now that brings up a question. I've always pronounced it 'FISH' 41, is that just me or do ya'll call it a fish as well? Or P-P-S-H 41? Or just 'that wicked sick Russian WW2 subgun!' |
I saw a show about it on the History Channel and they were pronouncing it "pep-a-shah" which was supposedly what the ruskies called it. |

None.
Leave them alone. They can never get it right. Ever wonder why commercial garands are shit? Ever wonder why commercial M1 carbines don't work right? Everything is out of spec, as producing parts to GI tolerances is not cost effective. Now, if you were talking new recievers, hey I'm all for it. Recievers can be produced with exacting detail, like LRB recievers or the early Springfield Armory recievers. |
Uh... what? I thought the US military bought all of its guns from the commercial sector. |

most anything banned from imporation due to the 1989 ban - mini, full sized IMI uzi's, Sig 550's, Beretta AR70's, Augs, Polytech and Norinco AK's, etc.
If we're talking only about guns that don't require special paperwork, then I'll join you in asking for the C-96. May I have mine in 45 ACP?

It's "Bettie", and HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL YES! SG |

+1 on the Broomhandles.
P-51D Mustang. Dusenbergs. Full auto M-1921A1 Thompsons with the same attention to craftsmanship as the originals (screw the 86 ban). Zeppelins (along the Graf Zeppelin/Hindenberg style... not the more modernized versions being floated around) Iowa class battleships. |
A 68 Dodge Charger with a 426 Hemi with dual Quads and a hot scantily clad chick.
+1 on the Mauser broomhandles. 1965 Lincoln Continental with suicide doors. |
I'll take a Hemi Cuda with a MG42 in the trunk and a CZ-52 in the glovebox.
Oh, and Marilyn Monroe riding shotgun. |
I originally thought this was reserved to firearms only, but since classic automobiles have made the list why not classic airframes?
I'd like to add a Boeing STERMAN to the list. Damn beautiful plane |
erm, have you ever heard of the Springfield Armory? The real one in Springfield, Mass, not the company in illinois that uses the name was a gov't armory that designed and built many of our small arms including the garand until it was closed in 1968. |

'49 Mercury
I'm for CZ-52s as well, I'd love to have a modern production one. |
Used to work for Bass Pro and found in the backroom this old shotgun circa 1900 or so that was a lever action 12ga. or maybe 10ga i dont quite remember. Anyways when you pushed forward the lever the entire bolt would come out of the rear of the gun to chamber the next round. PRetty sweet lookin, they wouldnt sell it to me for anything! I would like a bolt action 12 in production...Terminator on a motorcycle here I come!

I'd go with a 1969 Oldsmobile 442 (With the 455 CI Big Block V8), Audrey Hepburn (Circa Breakfast @ Tiffany's), and an MG-42.

1971 240Z, just add disk brakes and an RB26dett engine and I'd be one happy SOB
I would love to see a C-96 in 9mm reproduced.
(It requires a lot of machining, I wonder if CNC could keep the price under $1000.) And an MP-40. |
