I met George W. Bush when he was running for govenor in Texas. I was a cadet at Texas A&M and a member of the College Republicans, when he flew in I was the only cadet who showed up in uniform, they put me first in line and when he entered the building I got to shake his hand and welcome him to Aggieland.

I've met GW Bush senior at the White House on a few occasions. (while I was on duty [honor guard]) And now he lives right down the street from me in Kennebunkport. Does that count? I haven't met 'W' except for one time my wife and I were out kayaking near our home on the coast and 'W's boat was there fishing. So I did not really meet him but we were recreating on the same waters. We also go to some of the same restaurants, and the same playhouse during the summer.

COOL Stormtrooper!

I hardly ever make it down to that area, I'm up in Augusta, I hear Sr. spends a lot of time down there.
A buddy of mine played a round of golf at Cape Arundel the same day as the president once. Said it was hard to play with SS roaming the course, lol.

More..... My hairdresser does Laura Bush's hair sometimes when she is in town, my neighbor across the street knows the Bush family pretty well, and my dentist does work on G Sr.'s toothems. Small town, so it is kind of hard to go anywhere where the pres has not been.

I met Clinton, unfortunately....when he was campaigning in '92.

He was an extreme long shot at the time, and I remember thinking afterwards "This asswipe has no fucking chance!". Boy was I wrong.

He came to where I work, it wasn't something I volunteered for.

Good buddy of mine has a signed picture of him with GW.  Taken at a college function in Kansas City.  The fucker voted for Gore......I think I have convinced him of the blatant stupidity of voting for Kerry, and he is studying National Security for his masters degree, so voting for Bush seems like job security to me.

Huh? The Enterprise was lifted up by a modified 747 and then it was released for a test flight down to Edwards.

I photographed Vice President Bush, Sr. when he got an award at a University I used to work for.  Later on I got to shake his hand at the reception which was held for him.  Of course, later on he became President.
I can't say I know him, but he certainly impressed me as a very kind and gracious man.
