They sure were crying for everyone here to help in the donating of money for the tsunami victims in a foreign country!
Where are they when disaster hits our own country?

We are self-sufficient, we don't need it.

Besides, your compaired a wide-scale disaster that affected every beachline in the india ocean to a landslide that affected not more then 50 homes, ricfh people homes with insurance no doubt.

These people had a warning 10 years ago anyways.

La Conchita is not exactly a high rent neighborhood and I pretty much doubt they had insurance. (Now on the other side of the tracks and the freeway, THAT'S a different story. As noted they took a big slide hit about 10 years ago and a few smaller since. They probably couldn't get it. (Let's put it this way, I sure as heck wouldn't sell slide insurance in that tract) The trailer park out in Santa Clarita is not a millionaires trailer park and it's probably a third gone.

........................................Kalifornia is to close to them , they might have to do more than a telethon,and voluteer to do physical labor or even worst,

I bring the rich people into it because those are the only people stupid enough to watch it happen 10 years ago and blow it off and pretend it didn't happen just so they can get a view again.

Look, I feel for the people that were impacted, I wish death upon no one, rich or poor white or black, but when I found out they went through with this in 93, I have no remorse for them if that's their choice.

I'm also just smart enough to know there's 2 sides to every story and maybe I'm being too one sided about this, maybe there was people who were told by engineers it wasn't going to happen again, maybe someone is a new comer in the area and had no idea that it happened before, but the fact is you can't control the earth, and if something has happened you better damn well believe it can happen again so for that, I don’t have the same level of sympathy as you guys seem too.
