I have wanted a Kimber TLE/RL II or Kimber SIS/RL for quite some time now. The problem is, I am a newly wed college student with little funds.
I have a Romanian AK-47, 8 magazines (30 and 40 rounders) and about 750 rounds of 7.62x39. I figure I can sell all that and be on my way to get a Kimber. Although I really like the AK, and i think every family should have one (along with an M4 of course), I dont really use it. So my question is whether or not I should Keep the AK because it is a cool and classic gun, or sell the AK and get a Kimber because it is a very nice hand gun and I don't yet have a .45 AUTO. I am torn right now so lets see if ARFCOM can help my decision.
EDIT:
