"The U.S. government announced Thursday it was donating 8,500 tons of food aid to Zambia worth $2.3 million. Far more was needed, said Judith Lewis, regional director for the U.N. World Food Program."

I predict that pundits will appear on TV with the thinly veiled accusation that "the U.S. can afford to buy bombs, but not feed the hungry".  This is going to get ugly, as usual, and we the taxpayers are going to pay for it.

Although I don't like the idea of handouts to anyone, what about the starving people in our streets. Oh wait, it is ok, because they have better streets to be hungry in, right? If we are gonna be handing out food in the streets somewhere, why not here, to our own citizens? Once that job is finished, then we can think about going to play with the neighbors, and feed their children.

After we clean up this country,we should manufacture more bombs and lobb them more often!
