+1 Church is just a hospital for sinners. Lets face it, people dont like others telling them what they do is wrong, its human nature. Christians are just the people who are willing to admit they are wrong, and need help. |

No matter how factual the thread is, no matter how much religion has been kept out of it, all it takes is one guy calling everybody with a different opinion "hypocritical religious whackos", and a bunch of other guys pile on "yeah, christian antichoice lunatics!" I have my own frustrations with Christianity (specifically, the idea of faith; I don't do that well), but it is ridiculous to see the Christian boogeyman around every corner to the point of being the one to malign it when nobody has mentioned it previously. |

My friend, my church has always taught to expect heathen behaviour from heathens. No skin off my nose. My faith requires me to inform you NOT to convert you. That is up to you and God. If your house were on fire I would wake you and tell you if I gave a damn about you. If I believe that you are going to burn in hell and give a damn about you, you should appreciate that I tell you how to avoid it. If you wish to hear no more, then good day to you. You are perpetuating a myth. I am a devout Christian. I have never "forced" my beliefs on anyone. I have never "push(ed) it in other people's faces". I simply tell them of Jesus' love for them. If they choose not to accept His sacrifice, then that is that. And I am like about 95% of Christians. Your erroneous statement that all Christians are "pushing" their beliefs on you is simply silly. Your argument is a strawman. It just isn't true. If you and I went shooting together, I bet you would enjoy my company. I bet I'd enjoy yours. So, why do you hate us? |
