wo0t! Cleanin' out the copper foulin' from my first High-Power Competition Match.
Colorado Rifle Club held it Sat. I haven't shot High-Power in 5 years, and then I only did five practice sessions. Without gear, a jacket, or any preparation beyond having my cartridges in clips, I managed a 546-0x. I tossed off four misses in that deal, so I could have made 20 to 40 more points - 800 is possible score. The only people that were there were shooting 700+, they were all Camp Perry alumni. I thought I did pretty good for my first match! |
