I've noticed lately that my mode of handgun carry has migrated from defensive to offensive. I've always carried a small, concealable handgun like an .357 SP101 or a .40 Glock 27. Now I'm carrying a .45 1911 or a .40 Hi-Power, more for capacity and reloadability than caliber. I'd rather carry the larger gun in a backpack or briefcase than the smaller directly on my person. I guess I'm starting to feel that the greater danger is more likely to come from a terror type situation than a mugging type one. Anyone else feel this way?

Why not carry both?

Carry more than one gun if possible.

You have a much bettter chance of somehow getting involved in an active shooter type situation.

Or maybe a hold-up in progress.

Handguns are for fighting until you get to your carbine, shotgun or out of Dodge.

Nothing offensive about them.
