And that folks is how you can win the White House without Ohio... While it is true that no Republican since Christ was a Corporal has won the White House without Ohio in his column, it has not always been NEEDED to win. There have been plenty of examples in which a candidate has exceeded the required number of electoral votes without Ohios. Do I want them? Fuck yeah... we win either Ohio or Pennsylvania and it is lights out for Kerry. We can win it without either. Kerry can't win without BOTH! And even having both won't guarantee it for him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kerry236 Bush 281 Realclearpolitics poll round up
So Zogby has us tied, which means Kerry polled strongly with him yesterday. Don't be shocked to possibly see a Kerry lead here tomorrow and us down in Zogby's numbers until the election. Not showing in the above roundup is Battleground's latest poll which has Bush leading 51 to 46. Not sure why realclearpolitics hasn't factored it in yet... hopefully soon. Iowa Political Futures Looks like the Iowa Map is settling in to where the polls are, about a 3 point Bush lead. Jesus, some serious pucker factor here . . . .
I just can't wait for it to be over. I'm having a hard time sleeping lately. _Disconnector_ |

Oh my god maybe Us Bush supporters here in Michigan will be able to pull it out. I hope so it seems that the detroit area supports kerry big time but when you go up to the norther parts of michigan its almost all bush. I hope we can win michigan. Ohio better get its shit together to.

Does anyone else find it amazing that we might take Hawaii this election season?
Alright, now that I have put my flame suit on...
For the first time this campaign season, I am worried. It could be because the big day is so close. However, there has been so much bad news just this week. Video showing that soldiers came across weapons at the depot, FBI investigating Haliburton, etc. Even if you look at polls favoring Bush over the last two weeks, his lead is eroding. Call me what you will but I am worried |
Question.. Is there ANY sign that ANY likely voter- or anyone OTHER than the Conventional Media that have already been caught lying on Kerry's behalf and thus lost credability- is paying any attention at all to the explosives story OR the FBI investigating Halliburtion? I have not seen any, anyone else? |

WORD.... |

I agree, probably very few people will be swayed by this "news." Wes Pruden from the Washington Times summed it up pretty well... link on Drudge. October surprises are no longer much of a surprise and are seen more and more for what they are. Other than Zogby pulling even today, I've not seen an erosion in Bush's numbers, his base is strong and we are still tied or leading in every national poll and we are doing incredibly well in Kerry states and holding our states. Cheney is going to Hawaii Sunday... Kerry is sending his daughter Saturday.... him... wanna-be first daughter or the VP...
Cheney said in an inverview with Hannity that he was confident they would take Ohio.
Hannity also reported yesterday that polls showed Bush up in PA for the first time and tied in NJ.
Wasn't it Dick Morris who said that the polls this year aren't accurate on their face, because when you got to page 4 they all indicated an OVERWHELMING concern for security, and Bush with an overwhelming lead in that area?
What do you think? Is it just wishful thinking? OY! 5 more days (yes, I count Tuesday!)! |
I fear for his mental stability then. |
YES!!!
Been quite awhile since a new poll number has been presented for the South Dakota senate race....new one says [drumroll] South Dakota Tom Daschle*(46%) John Thune(49%) Zogby-2 Oct 26 Hey youz guyz in SoDak it is your patriotic duty to send that twerp Dashole packing! |
There are some places out there that examine the polls carefully. The horserace blog is one and polipundit.com is another. Almost all of them seem to skew Democrat. I always figure you should add 2-3 points to the Republican in every poll. If you really believe all the media polls our Republican governor would have lost in 2002 as well as Sen. Allard in CO and Sen. Coleman in Minn.

Well I doubt Michigan is going to Go Bush... however, I believe Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota will. Colorado will also go Bush. New Hampshire and Hawaii are in play, but even if we don't get them and even if Kerry gets Ohio and Pennsylvania... we win. We picked up 7 electoral votes with reapportionment and we are picking off former Gore states, enough that Ohio may not be the issue. Wisconsin is and they are doing very well under Bush's economic policies. Like I said, Ohio or PA would be welcome insurance, but we don't need either to win if we take the blue states we are leading in currently.

It's going to be really interesting to see how all these polls compare to the election results on November 3rd.

Dude, you can cuss if you want, they haven't outlawed that vice yet. I mean we all thought it anyway. |
Good thing for Hiram that I firmly believe Ohio and Colorado are going to W
fill it in man! Mi has to go bush for once in my adult life, i choose this election |
HR, thanks for the update. I opened this thread as soon as it came out. It looks a little better now.
I'm STILL a bit scared, though.......... THAT MAN IS DANGEROUS!!!!!!!!! |
Well here is news for you, local news announced this morning that W would be at SMU in Dallas,TX on Nov. 1.
I'm guessing that if the Republicans feel confident enough to schedule visits to non-battleground states in the day before the election, that their internal numbers show some grim news for Kerry on Nov. 2nd. |
+1 A few weeks ago it hit just what is at stake here. I have always known in the back of my mind, but the reality of it all hit me like a mac truck! I have a hard time watching the news, whether right or left the spin is almost unbearable. CH |

At least you two would be in the same boat! |

We in Ohio strongly support the President. What we fear and why the state is in flux, is the number of dead who will rise to vote repeatedly due to unionist cheating.
The Minnesota Republican Party has accused the Minneapolis Red Star Tribune of regularly skewing the polls in favor of the Dems by about 5 - 10 per cent. I believe that they are right, at least history has shown it to be that way. |
I'm going to see that movie again next week! |
Maybe just a haircut then..................................................................... |
He's not even old enough to vote. He's obviously just trying to scorce some hippie pussy. Wait till he finds out that'll make his acne worse, and in more places. |
How can someone who has demonstrated mental instability himself judge someone else's mental stability? |
I hope you're right, but the problem is that if the Metro Detroit area has enough votes to cancel out the rest of the state! Just look at how we ended up with that Canadian reject B1t&h for Gov. Tim |
Bush wants WI so badly that he made a last minute change in his schedule, and will be here in Milwaukee on MONDAY The last day before the election, the President will be HERE, and Kerry won't... I think we'll win this time, if we don't it will be a very 'questionable' election... |
Todays Fox/Opinion Dynamics Poll and the Battleground poll both have Bush up by 5 points.
I am willing to bet he wasn't even born yet in 1986 |
I seriously had a nightmare that John Kerry was elected president last night...
This shit needs to end soon.... My family (3 votes) will be going to Bush in Ohio this year, we changed residencies from TX to OH so our vote counts (military, currently in OH)...good times. |
Im glad some of you guys are so confident.
I haven been able to shit in days................ As soon as bush wins tuesday Im going to celebrate by unclenching and stopping up the crapper. |
I'll make a wild prediction. I think that most of the "newly registered" voters will not show up at the polls and that those who do "step into the booth" -- even those who are leaning toward Kerry -- will, at the final moment, mark Bush on the ballot.
Results: 60% for Bush 40% for Kerry (plus or minus 5%). There will be some outcry of foul play but the margin will be undisputable. Take a shit and get a good night's sleep. Wolf |
I'm just the opposite, nothin but pissin out my rearend for two days now. When I get nervous its that way though. If you haven't shat in days, you might need to get someone to check your pulse. Cause if you ain't shat in days you might be damn dead. |
It will look worse over the weekend. Something about Zogby's sampling methodology especially favors Dems over weekends. Can't recall what it is. It'll be close, but most polls have a natural advantage built in for the Dems. Phoning during the day, only using landlines, weighting based on last year's turnout... Just get out and vote, everybody! |
