The station gave her four minutes to respond to an anonymous email? That's like, long enough to grill a steak.

Meh, people don't have better things to do then harass the fat news anchor?
|
|
My children aren't going to call you fat lady. I don't have any kids.
If I did, I wouldn't let you near them in fear that you would eat them. |

At the 00:30 mark I was feeling pretty bad for her.
By the 1:30 mark I was hoping they'd post the 'bully's' email account so I could send him a thank you note. |

Anyone else find it annoying the way news people over enunciate everything they say and bob their heads at the end of every sentence?

sad fact, the news readers here in Central Ohio are as fat or fatter than her -

Interesting quote, "Obesity is one of the worst choices a person can make."

She remained quite composed. I thought she was going to start to blubber.

While the letter was ridiculous, trying to use it as a anti bullying campaign is a stretch and suggesting that the letter writer is then passing this hate to school age children is an even bigger stretch.
It's unfortunate that she doesn't understand that she to is passing on bad habit's to her kid's by being over weight. These habits are probably far more detrimental to her children than any school yard bully that they may come across. |

I work with a bunch of land whales.
Always bitching that they can't lose weight, yet waddle into work everyday with bags of junk food they consume every day, all day at their desk.

This thread should be re-titled, "If your an asshole and enjoy posting hurtful things anonymously to compensate for the size of your cock and other physical inadequacies, have we got a thread for you!"

I agree 100% with the email. Being fat should not be socially acceptable.

Who cares what her size is. When I was a kid I never ever once said I was striving to have the physical fitness of a news anchor.

So....let me get this straight.....
She gets into a Facebook spat with some random guy who calls her fat. She gets her husband and friends to jump in a stupid Facebook spat. Then goes on TV to rant about it. How old are these fucking clowns? |
|
She spent four minutes of prime news time telling this guy that his words mean nothing. Suppose that irony was lost on her?
|
|
Quoted: Quoted: People actually send emails like that? ![]() News channels hire fat people besides sports anchors? One of the local news states has a land whale for a field reporter. She used to be skinny though. |

Good grief. Someone sent her an email suggesting that she work on her weight and that she isn't portraying a healthy body image, and she makes it a big public spectacle and calls it bullying? Yeah, she's got a lot of issues.

The health nazis are becoming tiresome, but turning that into a "bullying" screed is silly. STFU and read the news.
