Well, what the fuck do they expect?
In Libya, Qadaffi (or however the hell you spell it) is slaughtering those fighting for their freedom, and the Mocha Messiah sits on his hands and waits for the EU to do something. In Japan, they are facing the destruction of an earthquake and a tsunami coupled with the horror of multiple nuclear meltdowns, and the Once decides to use his radio address to discuss gender inequality. There is no Federal budget and the economy is close to being in freefall, and the Dark Wonder is out playing golf. Oh, but Bush was disconnected from reality when he went to Crawford....

Their poll tightened up a bit (as did many, rasmussen's didn't have a sharp break) at the end at election day, but I'll never forget seeing that 16point gulf. I thought I had a screenshot somewhere on my portable HD, i've been looking for it, even if it contradicted what I posted, but I'll never forget seeing that and making my  face. For a long time now I've stopped looking at gallup's polling completely, it's just totally worthless for the mostpart. If you want a rosy (D) version of the truth, look at what those* guys have to say about it  |
