I have lots of pieces of the Berlin wall from both sides of the wall. I was there when it fell and lived for abit in the DDR Berlin and the West Berlin. They were ripping up the grass on the east side at the time and you could still see the land mine signs all over. They had an entire parking lot filled with stacked green guard dog crates.
Sounds odd but I miss those days, inspite of all the bullshit with the Ruskies I believe the world was a safer place back then. |
