Well, I don't know who he's being "considered" by, but a) he's not a muslim, and b) if you read the article, it certainly doesn't seem like he was an addict; more of a user. I wouldn't want to stir the "racial pot" here, but some things are so obvious they can't be denied. The day O.J. Simpson was found not-guilty was celebrated by far too many black Americans to deny the racial component of that trial. Watching the crowd scenes of some black universities made you think their football team just won the national championship. When the most celebrated black American leaders are people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton (but dismiss the accomplishments of Clarence Thomas and Condoleeza Rice), you have to know that any misdeeds that Obama brings to a Presidential campaign will easily be swept aside.
If the messesnger is ready, willing, and able to support you, as the mainstream media is and will be with Obama, your image can undergo some very pleasant transformations. He won't be able to reign in the Clinton Attack Machine, but he'll still have plenty of friends where it will count. |
