All the suspects have criminal records, mostly involving drugs and weapons charges. [red]Vela was charged a week ago with carrying a concealed weapon,[/red] while Sandoval and Rodriguez spent time in prison for burglary.

They won't let their people even have PERMITS and then when they catch a CARRER CRIMINAL with violating the law-they let him go to commit murder!
The citizens of that state need to clean house!

Armd,
Keep in mind that he was charged last week, not convicted. Was he out on bail until his trial? Did the weapon he was carrying warrant him being locked up and bail denied?
The CCW ban is just one of the laws that need to change. The state's definition of a weapon needs to change, too, and that will happen before we get CCW. If a person is carrying a folding knife with a blade of 3.5" or more in his pocket covered up by a coat, he is carrying a concealed "weapon." For crying out loud, my Benchmade Axis 710 has a blade longer than that (3.9")! Is it really a weapon? In Louisiana, that same knife can be carried concealed, and it's not considered a weapon (I did just that when I lived there). Now that I've moved to Nebraska (Norfolk to be exact. I knew Samuel Sun), I can't carry it concealed and would be considered a criminal. All because of .4" of steel. I can't even carry a decent knife to defend myself with, let alone a gun!
While I would love to remove a couple certain state senators from office, we don't need to "clean house."
