can i legaly get a ballistic knife and if so where?

i was watching gunsmith cats and the bad girl had one now i want one!

There not legal to own complete as far as I know but as a "collector" you can have one without the spring in it. I have been looking for one off and on for the last couple of years. They are very hard to find. I remember when I was about 16 (over 15 years ago)I had a "tapco" or similar catalog and they sold them for around $100 and all you needed was to go to the local hardware store to buy the spring. If you find a source that has them please let me know!
