Actually, since there are no rod guides available for the FAL, it's probably you best bet to avoid crown damage.
I sent Sinclair a couple of e-mails asking if they would consider making a rod guide for the FAL, but they said the design of the FAL would make it virtually impossible to make one that works from the receiver. So, without the rod guide I'm not comfortable using a rod. Maybe I'm just anal. |
