Isn't that a legit road sign from the area in N Ireland out side of Derry?
If I recall they had a provo sniper, that they never caught, working the rural areas outside the city. He/she used a .50 of some sort. |

It's NI, you can tell by the shape/colour of the road signs.
Not sure how funny it was for the Brit soldiers who were killed- would one in Iraq designed to intimidate American soldiers be funnier? Not trying to re-ignite the whole Provo/freedom fighter argument, but this sign was NOT put up to be funny. |

You're quite right. There was not anything the least bit humorous about the sign concerning where and when it was put up. But I sure thought of SteyrAUG when I saw it.
