Allright, this ones done. We have the White House, and we picked up some seats in both the House and Senate.  What do we do now to recover some more of our rights in the next four years and who is ready to run in 2008, because Cheney ins't a likely candidate....and what can we do now to start shoring up support..........back to work...........

You see, thats the problem.  He should have dropped Cheney, in the interest of having a VP who could be a viable candidate in 2008 . . . .  Now we are gonna have a whole new ticket--and be more vunerable than we would be if he had a different VP.

Anybody think Cheney might drop out do to health before the term is up?

Its a possibility.

The right really needs to start developing a candidate now. Bill Frist would seem like a decent choice, but right now he's about as exciting as sKerry. Frankly, I think the GOP would do better with a governor than a senator, as senators carry a 'Washington insider' stigma.

The Dem ticket in '08 will be Clinton/Obama. Get ready.

I hope like hell it is. That will ensure a Republican victory. I don't think America is ready for a liberal woman and a foreigner to run their nation. It would be a bigger victory for the republicans than 04 has been. That is barring a major disaster in the next 4 years.

Fuck Rudy.  I respect him for his composure after 9/11, but he's a gun-grabbing RINO.

Remember the Alamo, and God Bless Texas...

Unless they get Ted Nugent to run, I voted for my last Rebublican yesterday.

You guys are on your own with Rudy Giuliani in '08.  Sorry.

I think the repubs need to find a way to convince J.C. Watts to run for president. He's conservative, he believes in ALL our gun rights, he's articulate, he's intelligent, he has a "down home" manor to him, and he is popular.  If you've ever heard him speak, he is really good.

Personally, I'm not in the least bit interested in talking about 2008 on November 3rd, 2004. Bush won, that's ALL I'm interested in today. 2008 can be discussed later.
