I smoked a pipe for a few years as a young man.

Then, one day, my Dad, a cigarette smoker, went into the hospital and was dead 9 days later with cancer.

I came home from the funeral and threw my pipe and all accessories in the dumpster.

Quitting is easy, if you have the right motivation.

OK, you're giving up the "tobacco" pipe smoking. What else have you been smoking?

Just do what I do, and don't go to the dentist.

And once again, Red_Beard's avatar is explained.

Guess I won't be smoking a pipe ever. (Mrs B is now happy.)

I'd like to keep a can/pouch by the fireplace and toss a pinch on from time to time (once I get a fireplace).
