OK now what is the deal with Creed? Did the singer quit the band or just go off for a solo album?

Mensrea
A Dozen Furies
Devildriver
Gwar

Mensrea was decent, A Dozen Furies sucked, Devildriver fucking owned the hell out of the joint, and by the time Gwar came on I was too drunk to pay attention and ended up spending about half of their set in the bathroom puking

Last saw Big Head Todd and the Monsters. Groovy.
Prior to that, the Burden Brothers (with The Guest--who rocked). Also good show.

Cream at Madison Square Garden. They havent performed since the late sixties, and they only put on six shows, three in London, three in New York. I was lucky enough to get tickets to two of the New York shows. Eric Clapton rocked.

Edit for clarity: They put on the New York shows in October of this year. Prior to that, their last performance together as a group was in the late sixties. This was a once in a lifetime oppourtunity.

Same thing as No doubt. Split and the lead singer has gone solo, or so...... Scott Stapp I think???

I bet that was a great show.

Best concert I've ever seen was probably Pink Floyd in '87 or so (can't remember which tour)

Metallica in 97 it rocked

Saw Ozzfest from 2000 to 2005... so the last one was last summer.

Awesome as usual... except, as I sat out in the rain at 10pm, the 13th hour of being there, I suddenly realized that I am way too old for this shit.

I was so worn out, beat up, and soaking wet that I couldn't even enjoy Black Sabbath's set. Iron Maiden pissed me off (Don't wave your flag on my soil, etc.) and I was dismayed to finally realize that metal concert were ENTIRELY driven and attended to by 12 year olds.

Sad, sad indeed. I wish I was back in the 80s and early 90s for Dio, Ozzy arena gigs, and the early hardcore scene. That would have been awesome.

Duran Duran last year at the Toyota Center...it was their greatest hits and was incredible!!

Simon and Garfunkel 2 years ago was great, but Depeche Mode at the Woodlands was unreal the year before. Gahan just lit the crowd up with their greatest hits.

Couple of months ago I went to Atlantic City and saw SLIPKNOT, UNEARTH, & AS I LAY DYING. Great show. Slipknot was the headliner and I think the tour is over. I believe As I lay Dying is on tour now as the headliner...Hog

I just remembered I was at one more recent than the one I mentioned. For some reason my wife wanted to see Linda Rondstat when she was here, we had to be the youngest people in the place. This was that infamous show that made the national news when she dedicated Desperado to Michael Moore. Even though I had to sit through the boring show it was worth it in the end. All hell broke loose when she made her comments

GODSMACK

Last nation-wide act was Stone Temple Pilots, 2000.

Last local one was The Photon Band, last week.

Last concert I went to was The Doobie Brothers/ Steve Miller Band a few years back. Since then my music tastes have changed and primarily listen to country. I'm going to watch Tim McGraw and his beautiful wife perform on their Soul II Soul tour this August, that ought to be a great show.

I haven't been to a concert since 89 but it was great. I saw the Oakridge Boys. I wouldn't have thought they would be so much fun but I have to admit I was taken away with the Ooom Pa Pa guy!
