Senator Mike Lee is using our tax dollars to sniff out the nefarious billionaires funding NAFO buying torniquetes and scooby vans for the boys at the front. A mental giant!  Obviously Lee is an expert on Ukraine and knows a crowd funding online gaggle of misfits is the perfect cover for a joint CIA and FSB psyops to enrich Joe Biden. What a piercing intellect!  By the way Mr Lee, who funds your campaigns?

Not only to the inexplicably half-hearted extent we've done so far, but to the extent necessary for Ukrainians to drive all Russian invaders out of their sovereign territory (including Crimea and all of Donbas) as soon as possible.

Here's why:

Vladimir #Putin hates the West in general and the United States in particular. (He always has.) Putin holds US intelligence services responsible for the collapse of the decrepit, bankrupt, and thoroughly corrupt Soviet Union. Today, Russian hackers meddle in our elections, penetrate our critical infrastructure, and use ransomware to rob us. This is Putin's Russia.

Today, Putin's "best buds" are China's #XiJinping, North Korea's #KimJongUn, and the brutal mullahs that rule Iran.

Aiding Ukraine enables us to counter Vladimir Putin at the cost of NO American lives and only five percent of our defense budget.

Not less important as a reason for us to aid Ukraine is that Ukraine was a peaceful, sovereign country that was invaded and brutalized by an authoritarian regime that simply couldn't stomach the thought of an economically successful and politically free neighbor aligning itself with the West.

Great research.
I'm wondering if this is part of the reason for the attack on Odesa last night.
They did allegedly manage to get grain storage at the port.

❗️At night, the explosive wave from the arrival of the Onyx by the Odesa Hotel reached Primorskyi Boulevard - the building of the Londonskyi Hotel and several neighboring buildings were damaged, reports tg-channel Dumska

The second "Onyx" has arrived at the port infrastructure and this is the worst news. The warehouse for storing grain, which is loaded from there into the holds of dry cargo, turned out to be destroyed.

https://t.me/newspn/67907

And also an empty hotel, which Sprinter (Russia) claims was used for planning the Sevastopol attacks.

The only support for the claim that the hotel was some kind of adhoc military facility (which wouldn’t actually surprise me) -

Sprinter also claimed that Russia only sent two cruise missiles and one Shahed, and all the other explosions were secondaries from western ordnance in warehouses.

Also as a side note, it’s worth time taking a look at Sprinter, if not for the content, which is occasionally interesting…

…but also for the appreciation of the sheer volume that account pumps out, around the clock, with random language difficulties. I’m guessing 50 posts an hour, some of which require actual research.

Seems like a likely candidate as an IRA product.

Odesa governor-

The body of the second person who died as a result of the night attack of Russian terrorists on Odesa was just found under the rubble. My condolences to the family...

Fun fact: On February 23rd, 2022 I was in negotiations with a Czech Dude to bring over 2 ex-Polish BRDMs. He was emailing every day and then after the 23rd he never responded again. I went to sleep and then woke up and saw the news. These vehicles are in Ukraine somewhere. I was super pissed at losing out on a deal BUT They are being put to good use and I hope they are doing well, although old AF missiles like the Saggers probably aren't the best.

I've been checking the Oryx blog and none of these have shown up, thankfully. The guy had quite the lot of equipment in his yard. S125s, BRDMs, trucks, all kinds of stuff.

Umerov confirms.

First Abrams Tanks Arrive in Ukraine, U.S. Officials Say

An initial batch of tanks arrived months ahead of estimates, and in time to be used in Ukraine’s counteroffensive against Russia, officials said.

The first American-made Abrams tanks have been delivered to Ukraine, two U.S. defense officials said, arriving months ahead of initial estimates and in time to be used in Kyiv’s counteroffensive against Russian forces.

More M1 Abrams tanks will be sent in the coming months, the officials said, noting that those that were shipped into Ukraine on Saturday represented the first of 31 that the Biden administration has promised to send. The officials would not say how many have been delivered so far.

The Abrams will be among other tanks in Ukraine’s arsenal that it could use to push into, and possibly reclaim, Russian-held territory in Ukraine’s eastern and southern regions, where fighting has ground on for months without major breakthroughs. But Kyrylo Budanov, the head of Ukraine’s military intelligence, has warned that the Abrams would need to be deployed “in a very tailored way, for very specific, well-crafted operations,” or risk being destroyed.

If they are simply sent to the front lines to try to punch through Russian defenses, General Budanov said last week in an interview with an American military blog, “they will not live very long on the battlefield. They need to be used in those breakthrough operations, but very well prepared.”

The two U.S. officials spoke on the condition of anonymity because the deliveries had not been formally announced. Ukrainian officials declined to comment.

Both President Biden and the American defense secretary, Lloyd J. Austin III, had forecast last week that the tanks would be shipped within days. Their arrival represents part of an extraordinary effort by Western allies — responding to relentless pushing from Ukraine — to deliver a powerful weapon months ahead of schedule.

Just one year ago, allies had resisted sending Western-made tanks to Ukraine, concerned that doing so would draw NATO more directly into the war and further escalate tensions with President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia.

By January, however, convinced that Ukraine needed more heavy armored vehicles to confront Russian forces, Britain, Germany and the United States each agreed to supply the modern Western tanks or allow for them to be transferred to Kyiv. At that point, experts predicted that it could take at least a year to train enough Ukrainian forces on the sophisticated Western weapons.

U.S. troops began training Ukrainian forces in late spring, conducting an abbreviated 12-week course to operate Abrams tanks at American military bases in Germany.

The American decision to donate the Abrams tanks unlocked the transfer from European nations of several dozen German-made Leopard tanks, another sophisticated Western weapon, which Berlin had been unwilling to allow without a similar commitment from the United States. Britain delivered at least 14 of its Challenger 2 tanks in the spring.

Ukraine has said it needs at least 300 Western tanks for its counteroffensive, but it has so far received only about half that number, said Col. Markus Reisner of Austria, who is closely monitoring the war at Austria’s main military training academy.

By comparison, officials have estimated that Russia is manufacturing about 200 tanks each year.

Heh.  Actually having found another source or two, the gist of the article is this:
The Crimean gauleiter issued an announcement that was basically “don’t worry about the sounds you hear in the center of the city, because we’re doing controlled demolitions on the damaged BSF HQ.”
That could be taken seriously as in, they’re having to use explosives (or heavy equipment) to bring down wreckage and make it safe enough to work in, or non-seriously as in “pay no attention to the things you may hear in the city from time to time.  It’s just thunder, not Ukrainian missiles.”
That said, so far that is the ONLY picture I’ve seen of the HQ since the attack.

‼️Updated information on the losses of the enemy as a result of the SSO special operation to destroy the BDC "Minsk" and the headquarters of the Russian Armed Forces.

❗️Considering the fact that the "Minsk" BDK was supposed to go on combat duty the next day, personnel were present at the BDK. Irreversible losses amounted to 62 occupants.

❗️After the defeat of the headquarters of the Russian Armed Forces, 34 officers died, including the commander of the Russian Armed Forces. Another 105 occupiers were wounded. The headquarters building cannot be restored.

Fleet Headquarters: A Symbol of Strength
The Black Sea Fleet headquarters, standing tall amidst the bustling city of Sevastopol, serves as a symbol of strength and resilience. Despite the ongoing war disputes and the necessary demolition work, the headquarters continues to fulfill its duties and responsibilities. This steadfastness mirrors the city’s own resilience, further solidifying the bond between the fleet and the city it protects.

He's always been a favorite Senator of mine but this idiocy is really dropping my personal opinion of him.

Either he's ignorant enough to think that most people support cowering and hiding in the face of tyrants or he's pandering. I don't know of any other possibile explanations.

Plus this weird obsession with NAFO when there's hundreds of other issues he could be focusing on.

UAV Attack on Khalino Airfield

Ukrainian version seems to come from GRU indicating multiple officers killed.

Russian MoD says they shot down all of them.

⚡ This morning, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack by an aircraft-type UAV on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was stopped.

Duty air defense systems intercepted two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of the Kursk region, and two more Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Bryansk region.

🔹 Russian Ministry of Defense

https://t.me/mod_russia/30779

Except on their website, where in exactly the same language, they said they shot down one.

But…

After attempts to attack the Khalino airfield in the Kursk region, we had deaths there. One of the fallen drones turned out to have a “surprise”.

Previously, the enemy had already used such tactics in the Kherson direction, where several drones shot down and landed with the help of electronic warfare were blown up after detection.

They were also exposed to various chemicals that affected the respiratory tract. Therefore, downed enemy drones must be handled with care and this practice must be taken into account.

Peace to the ashes of the dead.

Something needs to be written about Halino. It's difficult to write anything here. My condolences, brothers... Let's live!

So…this one’s interesting for a number of reasons

More than 40% of migrants want to live according to Sharia, and not according to Russian laws - FADN

According to the survey results, 43.5% of migrants prefer Sharia law to the secular legislation of the Russian Federation. Every fourth person said they were ready to “take part in protests to defend the right to live in Russia according to Sharia law.”

The main Lak, Jew, Dagestani, Mordvin and Ossetian of Russia has been engaged in the Islamization of the country for years. And now we see what it turned out to be.

I suspect most of these guys want to know what they hell was going on in Ukraine before they put their shoulder to the effort.

I also think that’s fair.  There’s been too much creepy shit our government has been doing involving both parties.  The only way we fix things is by finding the truth and punishing those that broke our laws.

The stuff going on in Ukraine prior to 2014 was the direct result of Russian interference and corruption. The reason we are at war today is because the Russian influence was curtailed and their many criminal enterprises were interrupted. Prior to 2014, Russia didn't need to use violence to control Ukraine, now they do.

That’s all well and good but for the US we need to know if the DNC and the Obama administration was breaking the law back then too.  It’s not an excuse wrenching a country from a rivals grasp if I’m doing so you violate the principles of this country.

I suggest you consider that Ukraine didn’t belong to Russia and it doesn’t belong to us either.
Ukraine belongs to Ukrainians.

No.

If we had people violating another country out breaking US laws doing shit behind the doors with no oversight it directly impacts our country now.  Much of that same administrative staff is still in the bureaucracy and I don’t think it’s coincidence you see stuff like intel people signing off on the Hunter laptop was Russian disinformation, the FBI and DOJ with selective enforcement.

I want the truth and I want the guilty punished.

None of that has a damn thing to do with my willingness to support Ukraine.  Ukraine was invaded by a larger nation illegally.  The invader went on to massacre and rape civilians and conducted itself in a genocide manner.  A power like that cannot be tolerated to maintain global stability.

The facts we can crush Russia for a few generations on the cheap leaving China as our only peer rival is a bonus.

So Ukraine does belong to Russia?  Am I misunderstanding you?

Good grief.  Did you even read the fourth paragraph?

I’ve been consistent since 2014 that it’s in the worlds best interest to support Ukraine to the hilt to set a tone that makes it clear that sort of aggression is not acceptable.

Read it again.

We had Americans violating American law in Ukraine.  Biden Black and white admits to withholding aid till a prosecutor causing trouble for his son’s company is fired.  Biden was VP then.  Biden also said they could call Obama to confirm that.  So was Obama in on that as well?

There was cash flowing from the Obama admin without any oversight, no one to my understanding knows what happened to those millions of dollars.  That’s two.

Open your eyes man.

It’s possible that both Ukraine needs help defending themselves, but we need help cleaning up the corruption here too.  Stop being so sensitive to wanting to investigate the really strange stuff the DNC has done in Ukraine.  That reaction will cost Ukraine support.

Everything you need to know on the morning of September 25, 2023

• Drones attacked the Bryansk and Tula regions
At the capital's airports Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Shermetyevo, a total of 17 flights arriving and departing were delayed, and six more flights were cancelled, according to data from the Yandex. Schedule".

• Authorities will increase surveillance of airline passengers
They will collect information about the method of payment for the ticket: the name of the bank, the last four digits of the account or card number, the passenger's account information on the airline's website and the IP address of the computer from which the information was transmitted during the booking.

• Russia successfully circumvents oil price restrictions
In August, nearly three-quarters of all seaborne oil shipments from Russia were carried out without Western insurance, the leverage used to enforce the Group of Seven countries' $60-per-barrel oil price cap.

Russia began to prepare the army for assaults on fortified areas and battles in the rear

The Russian army is forming reconnaissance and assault brigades to storm fortifications and conduct reconnaissance in the immediate rear of the enemy, Izvestia writes, citing sources in the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to them, the new formations will be part of the combined arms armies and newly formed army corps. Their organizational and staffing structure has not been disclosed, but it is known that they will include assault squads for breaking layered defenses, as well as reconnaissance units capable of conducting reconnaissance at tactical depth, the sources noted.

The brigades will have tanks, light armored vehicles, artillery and a wide range of drones at their disposal. At the same time, the personnel of the assault detachments will be trained to fight in confined spaces - trenches, buildings, bunkers and bunkers.

The last time Russia carried out a large-scale offensive in Ukraine was in early 2023. It ended with the capture of Soledar and the assault on Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. As a result, the Russian army became exhausted and lost the opportunity to move forward, said the head of US National Intelligence, Avril Haines.

Russia has learned to bypass the oil price ceiling by refusing Western insurance

European and American companies provide more than 90% of the world's marine insurance, and their services have been a major factor in Western countries' attempts to make the Russian oil price cap work. But less than a year after its introduction, most of Russian oil began to be exported without Western insurance, according to a Financial Times analysis based on data from Kpler and insurance companies. In August, almost three-quarters of sea shipments from Russia were carried out without insurance from Western companies, while in the spring - about half. This makes it possible to sell a significant part of the oil above the ceiling of $60 per barrel, since there are no Western insurers who are ready to provide protection only if the sale price is confirmed.

The price of Russia's main Urals grade has remained above $60 since July and even reached $80 per barrel in September, according to Argus data from the Baltic port of Primorsk. The discount to Brent, which reached almost $40 after the introduction of a ceiling and embargo on supplies to Europe in early December 2022, has decreased significantly. Brent price exceeded $95 per barrel last week; it has grown significantly in recent months due to a reduction in supplies to world markets from Saudi Arabia and Russia.

In May, Urals and ESPO exports, whether by Western-insured vessels or not, amounted to about 3 million barrels per day, the FT writes. In August, volumes fell to 2.5 million barrels, mainly due to those insured in the West, which amounted to only 626,000 barrels (more than two times less than in May). Russian exporters have learned to do without Western insurance largely due to the formation of a shadow fleet from old tankers registered to companies specially created during the war in jurisdictions such as the UAE, India, and Hong Kong.

Well, I know GD probably fell for it lol.

It is actually a video that has been modified to look like Zelensky. The real video, below on the right, actually depicts a man named Pablo Acosta. He’s a dancer from Argentina.
