Buy a real HK. Many of the clone are either cosmetically deficient or mechanically not competent.
The POF guns especially have issues. |

I'm at nearly 2,000 rounds since I bought mine in May. Suppressed and unsuppressed. There's nothing wrong with it and there's nothing cosmetically flawed with it. And any cosmetic flaws on mine is because I actually take it out and use it. |

If I taped over the toll marks, you’d have a heck of a time distinguishing them. The only tell-tale is the finishing on the bolt and barrel, both of which are cleaner on the Hk. I currently own an older MKE imported by Zenith, a PTR and two HKs. The Zenith is easily on par with the Hk guns in terms of reliability and the fit/finish in the HKs isn’t good enough to buy one over an $1100 AP5 if you’re buying a shooter.
|
|
|
My Zenith MKEs are a blast and were totally worth it. I SBRed them and had to engrave them anyway so might as well do it on a cheaper gun.

I'll be honest, Absolutely 0 regret getting 2.. Will it say HK on it? NOPE, is that worth 3k more? HELL NO, these are SOLID and have good finishes, and fire beautifully. The ONLY gripe I had was a little mag wobble, but i bought a new magazine catch lever (US made) off Hkparts for 20 bucks now my mags lock up so tight, I can hardly get them in with a closed bolt, but they have 0 wobble. Everything else is fantastic. (the welds on the full size ap5 are SLIGHTLY better than the -p model i also got). IF it's going to bother you that it doesn't say HK, then save up.. If you just want to 100% scratch that mp5 itch with looks, feel and shoot-ability. these NAIL IT. hands down, no issues beyond that little wobble in mags.. (2-4mm nothing severe, and even without it fixed, I never could get it to miss-feed even when TRYING to do it, by holding the mag at different positions it was 100% reliable, so its a TINY thing).
LOVE EM.... stick to MKE-HK-POF mags tho, plastic sucks. Also compared to the POF I do not like the kind of 'old cz 82 shitty' shinny look paint job those have (just not my thing!) .. but some like the metal lower.. I like the more modern plastic/poly lower and its just as strong and sturdy as the metal) Get one and dont look back.... You wont regret it unless you NEED that rollmark. |

Yes just got mine it’s incredibly soft shooting and really accurate. Most fun gun you can get for 1200

Picked up a “P” model the other day for $1200. Welds are pretty good but, not perfect like on HKs.
Ordered a couple of spare MKE mags ($99) from Atlantic as well. |

Yes, op needs a AP5*
* I expect op to say the same for me when Century brings in a batch of 43P's i did not know about Zenith and MKE until after the partnership fell apart. So- unless HK is about to make a SP-43P or SP-33K whatever they will call it I will be needing the Century/MKE version |

I just put my first 500 rounds through mine yesterday. No hiccups.

I don’t have one yet, but when the K model drops I am grabbing one. |

Yes, you need a AP5. I just picked one up a few days ago and am very pleased with the fit and finish. I’ll be taking it to the range in a few days to test it out.

In on this too. I know I want one, it just making the funds available and committing them too it.
I mean it looks like 1600-1900 for the gun, Then a 12-20 mags. a RDS of some sort. A stock, 200 Tax Stamp. Probably a different front rail, hand guard, furniture or whatever you want to call it. What else??? |

But you should still buy the HK. Because the clones lack the teutonic elven magic. |
