White Knight Two just landed.
Air show has been postponed because of weather. Found someone's wireless network to sponge off of (thanks).
I have some pictures of guns from the WWII display that I wil try to put up.

I was thinking that there was going to be an A380 at the show this year. Is that right? It'd be pretty kewl to see something that big.

Yes, A380 tomorrow. I will get pics and update if my stolen w-fi holds out.

Very cool.

I'm a Boeing guy... but it's hard for me not to be impressed with the 380. The 777 still makes me smile after all these years (hell... the 757/767s still do that for that matter).

Nice.  I'm hoping to take one of our club's warbirds up next year (a C-172 is technically a warbird if it started life as a T-41  )

PS: Tag for more pics.

Fire trucks and Army heavy lifters.  What more can an overaged kid ask for?

Rutan's craft are always sort of awkward-looking, but at the same time very elegantly designed.

Is it just the camera angle, or is the WK2 made of two different size fuselages?

I still wouldn't fly in the thing - that center wing spar between the fuselages is the only thing holding it all together.

Just wait until the spaceship is bolted to it and drops off

I've always wanted to fly a cross-country to Oshkosh.  It's on my list to do before I die.

That's my towne.  I should be working out there right now.  Either VIP escort or the dreaded directing traffic.  I hate when EAA comes to towne or Country USA.  My house is about 8 miles from the grounds there.  Would rather be there right now than here anyday of the week.  Even with all the tourists.

Usually in any aircraft there is "something" holding it all together.

I flew my Quad City Challenger II Clipwing Special to Oshkosh and back in 1996. It was truly an epic adventure. The only negative was I didn't have anyone along to share the experience. Here's a photo of me and my bird about ten minutes after landing back at my home airport. About two minutes later,a monster thunderstorm hit the area with torrential rain and 50mph winds. Whew!
