I cooked this as a surprise dinner for my wife's birthday, so no guns were brought out.

Filet Mignon
Twice Baked Potato
Grilled Portabella Mushrooms with Tomato and Mozzarella Cheese
Grilled Jalapenos

And topped it off with a big glass of Jack & Coke

(This was my plate, her's wasn't big enough to take a picture of)

Looks mighty fine - despite not living up to the intense rules for posting dinner pics on arfcom.

No, on a grill.  But I rotated them once on each side to make them look good.

Looks decent, but the the steaks are sorta pale, and those 'shrooms shoulda been finished under the broiler.

Not trying to be a troll, but it appears your cooking surface wasn't up to temp yet. Almost as if you fired up the gas grill and tossed some steaks on.

Filet mignon is the only steak that I DON'T cook on a grill.  To me it should have a crust on the outside and be rare on the inside.  I normally cake it in sea salt and cook it on a cast skillet in butter.

Did those steaks have the bacon on them when you bought them?  They don't look like real Filets

Hmm, good idea.  This was the first time I've cooked the shrooms or potatoes.  Plus, the wife dumped more cheese on them right before I took them off the grill
