If anyone else was waiting to see if the Nikon DL cameras actually made it to release... Nikon officially canceled all three cameras.

If the IQ was good and the performance decent, a DL24-85 would have been my perfect general-use/ travel/ family snapshot camera.

Yeah, that was the opening line in my "bad news" thread.  Long story short, their circuit lithography unit got completely destroyed in the earthquake/flood last year.  They were trying to put the DL line through on other stuff, but it would end up being a massive loss.  Moreso than the ~$240 million writeoff of an entire division.
