I went to Subway for lunch and the franchise owner told me that they don't serve pizza subs in the US.

WTF?  How can you not have pizza subs?

What kind of backwards culture are you running down there?

The pizza sub is the most natural combination of ingredients of any sub ever created!

Bun, mozzarella, tomato sauce, pepperoni = pizza sub.

I haven't been to a single Subway in Michigan that will not make a pizza sub if requested. A few around my school and in my hometown even have them on their menus.
Link Posted: 7/3/2012 3:06:05 PM EDT
Well, having suffered Canadas culinary aptitude, I can see why you might head south to the US for a sandwich.
However, subway sucks, and crossing a border to get it, makes zero sense...

Canadian Bacon.

Not bacon.

Ok, four words.

They serve pizza subs here in Oklahoma.  Some of the Subways here also offer actual pizzas.  But some of the Subways that serve pizza refuse to put mozzarella cheese on a meatbull sub though.

It looks like the northern states sell it, no problem.

it sounds like the owner is retarded. Try ordering a chicken pizzaiola, they are better.

After that idiot racist commerical (whimpy white guy won't confront the black fire chief), Subway is off the menu.

My crazy ex-Gf ate one every goddam time we ate at Subway here in North Carolina. No poutine or fries covered in gravy though.

No idea.  They have an underground railway though.

Subway's menu isn't as "national" as you think.

When I was TDA to Cincinnati I got funny looks when ever I went into a subway and asked for Sweet Peppers on my sub. I would give them funny looks back for not having sweet peppers and not knowing what they are.

I'm glad I'm back among civilization, where subs have sweet peppers and where cinnamon and coco powder isn't considered a chili spice.

Link Posted: 7/3/2012 3:13:31 PM EDT
I wonder if you can sneak one in there without them knowing they're making a pizza sub until it's too late.

Meh I like pizza and I like sub sandwiches.

Pizza subs not so much.

Now if they served a good Poutine I'd be all over that.

I was at a Subway a couple weeks ago that served both pizza subs and actual pizzas. Go choke yourself.

what the fuck is a "Sub"?

they are called Grinders

Subway is headquartered in CT.  The only Subs in CT are the ones that come out of the giant atomic Dildo factory in Groton next to the Navy Base.
Link Posted: 7/3/2012 3:24:35 PM EDT
I can get one here in NC.
Link Posted: 7/3/2012 3:26:01 PM EDT

I know they did at some point anyway.. I have had Pizza subs from subway and have seen others get them multiple times.

But our McDonalds still does not have pizza

I may have to open a shop in CT, I have fans there

But seriously, I wonder how much it would cost to open a kebab shop somewhere in the Northeast, NH or CT preferably. I'd say Vermont too but no one lives in Vermont apparently.

A kebab shop would be very welcome in Dallas.

$870,000 in CT. Fucking thieving goons would probably give you a million bucks if you wanted to start a busway to nowhere, but real company's get nothing.

We do have a few Turkish restaurants in CT, however you need an armored vehicle and a few armed guards to go in those neighborhoods.

I didn't know they still had actual pizzas. They add toppings you pick out, then run it through the oven they use to toast their subs.

If you saw the videos from this past weekend's arfcom Connecticut machine-gun shoot, you'd probably make reservations for all of us.

We were a small, angry army with crew-served weapons and grenade launchers  It was epic.

While I don't know the status of the pizza sub locally, I do know that only certain local Subways have the veggie patty sub.

I bet whoever took your order was an arfcommer.

The whole place probably erupted in laughter after you finished your shit sandwich and left.

Why would you ever order a pizza sub when you have wonderful cuisine like Tim Horton's lasagna-in-a-bowl?
