No ben ,i bought the enhanced Gen 1 it's really clear, no spots like some of the other Gen one's i checked out,as a matter of fact some of the Gen two's i saw were not as clear as this one.

I am sorry Jrzy, I don't have one.. I am envious and curious at the same time... I mean I know what I would like to have, but I am totally convinced that right now, Night Vision is a rip off.... For instance on the ITT 6015 for commercial use you don't get a gain control. But on the same system for military AN/PVS14 you do get a gain control. All other factors being the same.. All that is different is you don't get what amounts to a potentiometer and the proper biasing network. And this alone saves you $1600.00 ... That reaks to me because I know for a fact that even the best Pots (clickable) don't go for over $20.00 .... Alot of money is made on ignorance in that market.... And I would love to have one, but right now it is a total rip off and it makes me mad because there is something there that I want to own, but I can't justify getting taken advantage of at all.

I am sure that it will be fine Jrzy. I am a person who is pretty cynical anyways. Don't pay me no attention , and you just enjoy the hell out of it... Benjamin

Don't forget to take a few gazes at the night sky with it. Amazing how many stars suddenly appear. . .

What kind of batteries does it take? I didn't see it in the specs.

That looks COOL... and by cool, I mean totally SWEET. It's so sweet, it makes me want to crap my pants. It's so sweet, I love it with every part of my body, even my pee pee.

Gen 1 is active-IR, isn't it?? (I assume that's what the secondary tube in the foreground is.) Aren't you worried they'll spot your emitter and shoot back? [:D]
