I just wanted to jump in and say hello, I'm new to the site.  I'll give a little bit of background, I've been a trooper in Indiana for 10 years now and work in southeastern Indiana.  I've been a gun nut for most of my life and have owned a AR-15 for several years now.  Our department has finally seen the light and is letting us carry our own AR's and I have mine pretty well tricked out (except for a combat light, which is next).  I have a LE only AR6721 with a M4 handguards, CQB Solutions Tactical sling and a Trijicon Reflex with a flattop mount, loaded with Hornady 60 gr TAP ammo.  I am planning on going with the Surefire M73 tactical rail and one of their lights (probably the 952XM07) here pretty soon.  But, anyway, no more boring everyone, I'll see you around the board.

Welcome to the boards. Sounds like a nice set up you've got there, and I'm really glad for you that you're able to take it along on duty.

Thanks, it is going to be nice.  In the day with the bad guys wearing body armor and automatic weapons, it will sure beat the 870.  Don't get me wrong, I love my 870 and it shoots really well for a short barreled gun, but the extra firepower will be nice.  In these rural areas, every home you go to has a rifle, I fugure we should to! Luckily our new Super agrees.

I like it a lot.  I wanted something that doesn't run on batteries.  I have enough items that run on 3 volt lithiums, I've got six Surefires and only one is a rechargable.
