Michigan's got a bill on fast track.
In order to learn from a flight instructor (in order to privately contract with a federal licensed pilot to learn his craft) they want fingerprints and a full background check---any 'crimes' in the last 7 years, you can't learn.
I wasn't aware the terrorists had gotten convicted for any crimes in America in the several weeks they were here before they started killing......
oh, and not having valid stickers on your trailer license plates is a crime here (they are using BS traffic 'crimes' here now to pull people's CCWs under the new--no bribes needed--CCW law)

I feel safer knowing that terrorists will have to travel outside of Michigan to obtain pilot training.

Seriously, I guess they also need to do background checks on driver's licenses to prevent people from deciding to run-over such stupid legislators.z

Great. Does this mean I'm going to have to go through NCIS and wait 5 days if I want to rent the 172 RG from my local FBO? What a bunch of BS. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the terrorists have NO criminal convictions at all?

No but if you don't WO, the FBI will make you MIA or KIA and AFAIK, if that happens it will be SNAFU and you'll be FUBAR.

:D

Sorry, I just love acronyms. ;)

Incidenatlly, I agree with you all; yet another pointless law to take away your freedoms.
