www.howtobefit.com I may have sited the EXRX. site as a refrence here since I found it in 98. But a word of caution to all you mad men lifting 8000,00 lbs. Theres no need for it I've realized, I wished I'd had'nt been the same when I was young trying to lift heavier all the time. I have injured myself time and time again not realizing it till I've become older. Simple PT (pushups, situps, pullups, dips and the like) type exercises done with proper form are a LONG TERM way to maintain your best form till your out of the picture. Don't get me wrong, lifting when your less than 50yrs old and you can handle the resistance is great TO A POINT. However lifting like a nut eventually takes its toll on your joints,IOM DAMN THAT ENDORPHIN RUSH!........ Edited to add I know the link says heart rate moniters but theres alot of good variations on there. Since I'm older I've found simple cardaic training as well as maximunum flexiability are the things to concern myself with, These taking priority over muscle *maintence. In the USA your sold a healthy guys image is standing there flexing his bicep's......I'n many other cultures they simply pat their chest signifying their internal organs.
