Am I the only one who finds it incredibly annoying whether new words and sayings catch on and are overly used? As mentioned win, fail, and epic. Epic probably annoys me the most.

I use them all the time, even in real life. Why?
*points at self* Duh, winning! |
Quoted: I deliberately refrain from using them as much as possible. Me too. |

I think you have to much time to post trivial shit.
Thread fail! |

My thoughts exactly.( although I don't mind sweet) but these words I hear constantly anymore and it annoys me so damn much. Maybe I should make this a poll...
Yeah, "fail" is another.
Everyone's starting to speak in Idiocracy language! |
I will use any word as long as the situation actually calls for it or I want to annoy someone
Well, I'm trying to get this phrase up and running. . .
"Here's what I'm sayin'"© . . . . I will pay you 5 Internet dollars every time you say it in public. . Here's an example: "Dude don't know what he's talkin' about. . . Here's what I'm sayin' ©" Or: "Well, my good man, it appears you did not forsee the circumstances with which you now find yourself. This reflects poorly on your planning skills. Here's what I'm sayin'©" You get the idea. . . . |
Perhaps now that Charlie Sheen has made them mainstream, they will die a slow death and new 4chan memes will take their place.

I use big words every day at work...
I come here for entertainment. |
I have made it my life's work to make "bi-winning" the NEXT BIG THING®
Quoted: Quoted: I deliberately refrain from using them as much as possible. Me too. Likewise. When I read them on the internet, its annoying, but in the rare instance that I hear them in my every day life, I have difficulty refraining from violence. |
doesn't really bug me I guess
but "you know" that annoys the shit out of me if a person does it constantly and I even find myself doing it so I force myself not to do it |
Well I am in college and I here these words In everyday life. Seems that the people who say they are the type who exaggerate in everything they say and are seeking attention. Oh well I shouldn't let it bug me but figured I couldn't be the only one.

Despise 'fail'. Win, ok. Epic, not my cup of tea, but whatever.
But I abhor fail. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

And 'sub-moa'. No, I don't believe that you shot a <1.1" group at 100 yds off hand with your dpms and wolf camo box. Therefore; I ask you to shut the fuck up.
And fuck you autocorrect! Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

It's OK,they'll fall out of favor within the year and something else will take their place.
Epic fail will go the way of rad and psyche all too soon. |
none of the above really bothers me. However...... I really hate the following new "response" to something deemed incorrect. It's a one-word question, usually following a question / repeat of the last statement made by the other party, but rephrased as a question. REALLY?
You're going to X, Y, and Z? Really?
You're going out like that? Really? Really? Example: personA: I like AR15 rifles. dumbass: You like AR15 rifles? Really? Really? personA: you are an idiot. Absolutely hate it when a so-called man uses it in that valey-girl / OC / The Hills type tone.... where the hell did this shit come from anyway? |

language has been morphing and changing ever since the beginning of language.
this is just another example. listen to how people talked during, say WWII... ya know, news broadcasts, old movies, ect... in the last 65 years american english has changed dramatically. btw, this thread is full of fail and aids! |

Don't know if this counts but when it comes to sports I will say "beasted, beastmode, beast" and "j-work."
Aw, says you! I think these new terms are the bee's knees. The cat's pajamas. Don't be such a high hat, Mrs. Grundy.
Well, 23 skidoo. |

For crying out loud......STOP with that word.....do it for the children |
