My daughter: daddy why are you selling all of your guns? Me: because the government says I have to? My daughter: why? Me: because they're illegal. My daughter: why? Me: because the government says I'm a criminal. My daughter: (tears flowing huge): but daddy you're a good daddy Me: (hugging her trying to console her) don't worry. it's ok My daughter: <still sobbing uncontrollably> But how are you going to teach me how to shoot? This is a true story from last night. My daughter is 8. I've sent it around to our elected clans. Please feel free to use the story as you see fit. |

Heartbreaking and infuriating at the same time. Sorry you have to sell your guns and sorry you had to have that conversation with your daughter.
|
|
Shitty deal you NYers have. Feel for you.
I still wouldn't be selling my guns. |

Daughter: Daddy, why do you still have these guns? Cuomo said they're illegal now!
Daddy: I have an obligation to disobey unjust laws. Daughter: oh okay. I love you Daddy. |

As Sergeant Barnes said; "The Mother Fuckers!" And I mean that. sorry brother, your kid and you deserve better. Lets meet and beat these assholes in court and the polls.

Why are you selling them? You have a year before you need to do anything.

The situation sucks, I happen to be single so the choice would be much simpler, for me. But, brings to mind something that folks may wish to think about, going forward.
If Daddy will not defend her rights, who will? The "state"? |
|
Just register the ones you want to keep in state
Store the others out of state. Put 7 rd spacers in all 30rd mags and rivot or epoxy the floor plates. If some day SHTF remove rivots or epoxy You have 12 months, now is not the time to throw in the towel, honestly if it was me I would enjoy them and laugh at the LEO guys and use the 12 months to find a new place to live. I've thought about the same thing. I have a cricket for my 4 yo son and that may be all he knows for a while.

That old thing? It died. Nobody watered it.

I hope the court challenges are successful but I also have concern about "Stockholm syndrome" setting in for you guys behind the iron curtain.

Sell my guns??? fuck that... I'd unload the house & move out first.
Maybe ALL the law abiding firearms owners in New York should do just that. Let's see just how well things work out for the state as soon as the only armed people there are LEO's & gang bangers. |

Have her write a sappy letter to the president asking why her daddy has to be a criminal now.
Seems to listen to kids before the constitution. |

Come South my New York friends, come South! Bring your skills, abilities and your guns to the free states. You will not regret it! The winters are easy, you will find more people of like minds and your taxes will be considerably lower.
|
|
My conversation with my sons went a little different than that one. |
|
The president and liberals are manipulating the anti gunners on emotion, why shouldn't we?

I'll be joining the New York rifle association tomorrow. These people have trampled on other American's rights.

Or he could move one state over and have all the guns he wants.

Pretty pathetic how easily people have given up.
Private firearms ownership is our last line of defense. Give it up and you might as well just give everything up. There's a reason we haven't gone full tilt Socialist yet - and it's because people still have guns. |

Sad story but the dude's a bit of a puss. Going to be some shitty conversations where dads and grandad's are going to have to tell their kids that grandpa's AR15 has to be turned into the State Police when he dies, junior can never have one.
Buy a Marlin or Ruger put tech sights on it and teach you kids to shoot that, then when they are older get them a frickin' 338 Lapua with a US Optics scope, er, for deer hunting-or tell them your AR will be waiting for them at the FFL the day they are smart enough to leave this shit hole

Can you keep your firearms that are illegal in NY in a state that is sane, in anticipation of moving to the sane state and teaching your daughter to shoot?
I am seriously thinking about this very idea, since Maryland is not far behind. Think about it. |
|
You know..........I am NOT the kind of guy to think I would ever think this way but, if I lived in NYS, I would SERIOUSLY be thinking about not complying. I am serious. If this is a coc Aimless, I will delete it. |

Replace "Criminal" with "Jewish"
Then you know where they're heading. |
