I was 10-87 for the night, had fun at Busch Gardens, sorry you had to work.

Glad to see your safe though.

15+ hours in Grand Central Station and all was quiet.  When the ball dropped it was just myself and 3 "skels" on the Subway platform.

Worked 13+ hours 12-31 to 1-1
Worked 12+ hours 1-1 to 1-2

1 detox run
1 DUI
1 got away from me at 75+, using all three lanes.
1 unbelievable family fight, all were 5' 10" + and 200-300 lbs. The fight went on for 4 hours before the call. Blood in the house, on the car, in the driveway. I though the house had been in a rollover crash.

While I was at the hospital another officer found the car that ditched me, crashed, wrong plates, keys in iginition, in a highway fence.

Next day.

1 Crash
1 Near crash, almost got taken out, angled head on, good thing that shoulder was wide. Drugs in car too.
1 More crash, couldn't find the car, driver didn't speak English.
1 more crash, found it while looking for the previous crash.
1 fatal crash, with 6 injured, 3 not talking due to injuries. 2 being idiots due to ETOH.
(While we were there a double fatal crash came in in my beat.......)

We have had 3 fatal crashes, with 4 dead in 27 hours................
