Don't feel bad, it takes a "special" kind of person to own a Sibe. Special = crazy

Everyone meet "Steyr."

I rememeber when we got a new pup to go in with the older one. The pup liked to play all the time, and once in awhile ole girl would have to tell her ENOUGH. Pup would stop quick and retreat, and then the older one would go to him and be real fuzzy.

Was always interesting watching social interaction between the newer one and the older one. Kept the older one younger for a lot longer, 16 total years.

sniff....

Congrats! I don't miss the puppy days at all, but of course it's always worth it.

That left ear hanging, reminds me of my german shepard.... never seen another one until this. He had some timber wolf in him as well, boy I miss that dog ...

I owned 45 of them at one time,I must be a stark raving lunatic.

Nice pup SteyrAUG

Now that I don't do the sled dog thing anymore I have been considering getting a
German Sheppard for a personal companion and protection dog.
I really like the "wolfish" type dogs

Congratulations! Those are beautiful dogs! I just got a German Shephard from one of my neighbors. He's black on top and white underneath. He seems to be pretty intelligent. I show him something once or twice and he has it down cold. His name is Shultz, and he is ten weeks old. Today he showed his guard dog colors when we went out his morning to the back yard and the neighbors 115 lb. lab was drinking out of the pond. My little Shultz barked up a storm, charging out a little ways, then running back and hiding under my legs. He's a good boy. Daddy was proud.
Question, does your pup whine a lot? Shultz does quite a bit. Is that normal? He's the first Shep I've ever had and I don't know. He doesn't whine as much any more, but he sure gets excited some times.

We used to breed Huskies as showdogs when I was a kid, still one of my favorite breeds. Then I got a GS, best damned dog I ever had. I still miss her (Natasha).

Steyr,

That's what you gotta do!

We just picked up another Jack Russell after our Mini-Dachshund was put down due to paralysis and incontinence....very sad, but a new JRT keeps us busy.

You take care of that pretty Shepherd...great dog.

If I had a big yard, I'd have bigger dogs...

Aw, bullshit, I love these damn JRT's they think they weigh 150 lbs..They are positively, pound for pound, bad asses!

Cheers Steyr!
